Introduction

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic team-building workshop for BASEC at the Mercure Hotel in Milton Keynes. This high-energy event brought together 40 participants, immersing them in the art of Japanese drumming while reinforcing key teamwork principles.

The Workshop Experience

Led by Mark from Rhythmworks and the renowned Kumiko Suzuki, the workshop guided participants through fundamental Taiko drumming techniques. The group was split into two teams of 20, each working through rhythm exercises, synchronised movements, and collaborative drumming patterns. The day culminated in a powerful final performance where both teams showcased their newfound skills in front of their colleagues.
